By Awesome
I have had almost all touch screen ultra books and I have to say this is the best one.1st Reason is it is convertible, I mean you can twist this thing to your comfort level without a doubt2nd It is a fast and very good looking ultra book, it has a lower screen resolution than most but the screen it very nice and watching movies on it in HD is unbeatable3rd its Lenovo, Leading company in business Computers in the world and now taking a strong approach to personal use.4th Tablet mode, how many ultra books are there in this generation that full converts over to tablet mode with full responsive screen?5th Price, when you compare the price against its competitors it is right there and almost cheaper than most with such power like the i5 and 4gb of ram6th very good gaming graphics, playing a video game holds up very well and that video game could be the latest in the industry.7th Did I mention it is eye catching?Thank you

By Jacob Sam
After plenty of shopping around, reviewing, and deliberation I finally decided on the Yoga 13. After receiving it, setting up windows, and playing around for about 15 minutes, the left 2 inches of the screen started flickering and showing banding with rows of unresponsive pixels. I ran my fingers along the edge of the screen with a little force and identified the point where the LCD screen connector meets the hinge. Flexing the screen a little varies the intensity of the defective portion of the screen. I'm sure I just got a unit that made it through quality control when it should have failed, but I'm returning it for a full refund without electing for a replacement. I'll just let this unit become someone's refurbished model while I find myself back at square one in finding the ideal convertible for work and school. As someone who relies heavily on user reviews, I understand how hitting this model with a 2 star can reduce the amount of love a product gets, but the issue I experienced happened literally within the first hour of using it.

By Y
Reason why I love it:I love this laptop because it is fast (i-5 core processor). I also love its color - beautiful orange. Touch-screen is convenient. And 360 degree rotation is a major reason why I bought this laptop and I absolutely love this feature although it is little heavy to use as a tablet. It didn't bother me though because I bought this as a full-functioning laptop and occasionally wanted to use in a tablet mode.Reason why I didn't give 5 stars:1) I am little bit concerned that it wasn't able to restart/refresh/system recovery once (I also got error message saying there are missing files to perform system restore). I am not sure if it is a hardware-related problem or if necessary software is missing. I wanted to refresh because my keyboard suddenly stopped working, internet explore didn't open, auto-rotation button stopped working & cannot connect to wi-fi). I tried 'refresh' again and it worked for the second time. So I don't understand why I got an error message for the first time but it is working fine after 'refreshing' my laptop was successful. If it has problems again I would have to contact Lenovo manufacturer customer service as it is still under manufacturer's warranty (it was shipped on March 2, 2013).2) Windows 8 has some shortcomings. For example, certain features are not completely touch-operable, meaning that I have to use a mouse to use drop-down menus on websites. Another major complain is that once I log in to my amazon.com account there is no way to log out as there is no 'log out' option in the drop-down menus in Internet Explorer (both metro and desk top versions). I can log out on other websites or if I use Chrome. I hope Microsoft will fix these shortcomings in the near future.I will update my review whether it continues to have the same problem or not. If it doesn't happen again I will upgrad my rating to 4.
