First off this was bought to be a gaming laptop. There is no reason to buy this if you are not gaming or need high end 3d graphics. I've been quite happy with it playing Guild Wars 2, Black Ops 2, and more. The fan can get a bit loud under high loads, but it's not obnoxious if you are wearing a headset like I normally am when gaming.Pros: nVidia 680M, i7, customizable backlit keyboard, great matte screen, 2x 2.5" drive bays plus optical, great speakersCons: Taller than standard 15-16" notebooks, this can cause a bit of hassle trying to find a bag.

It is a very good configuration, but for the price I paid a SSD would be fair enough.Nevertheless, it's a good purchase.
