5Great lightweight laptop
By C E H
Overall great system, good performance, convenient function buttons - not overdone. Light & slim, but substantial and durable.for a ultra. Minor negatives include no VGA or HDMI port for business presentaitons - requires a purchase digital display adapter separately. Also, no true docking station, uses a port replicator - almost the same except requires the user to plug in the USB 3 and power rather than a drop in cradle. I definitely think it was too expensive at $1600+accessories relative to the market, but I got tired of looking and my old laptop was struglling. So, I swallowed hard and went with the advice of a friend. At at a lower price point, I would not hesitate recommending this system for somone looking for a solid portable business system for routine MS Office type applications.

5X1 Carbon
By Timothy C. Outlaw
For the road warrior, this PC is a guilty convenience. Not for the entertainment consumer, this ultrabook is all about work. The fingerprint reader is excellent, the weight is awesome, and performance brisk. The only quibble for me is the lack of more than one usb3. Great choice.

3memory insufficient and can't upgrade
By D. Holmer
I bought this laptop from Amazon because I urgently needed a reliable Windows 7 (not 8) laptop and Lenovo couldn't ship for 4-6 weeks. I have no complaints about the machine but would have greatly preferred 8 gig of RAM instead of 4. Now I'm regretting it. This laptop wasn't cheap, and the memory can't be upgraded.
