I purchased an X220 thinkpad i7 from lenovo recently but it periodically shuts down without warning and starts spontaneously while in my backpack with the lid closed. Lenovo sent me a box to send it back for repair with 6 day guaranteed turnaround but I use the computer daily and don't want to have to reload my applications when they return it so I haven't sent it in yet. Best to remove the battery when I shut down for now.
